Thank you for your interest in the Square Stepping Exercise. Please read the followings before inquiring. Then, please select the country you would like to contact
1. IF you want to be an SSE instructor and serve SSE to people, (For non-researcher)
You are required to get an SSE instructor certification.
For this, two ideas are suggested.
1) Come to Japan to attend an SSE instructor training session. Institute of SSE (ISSE) serves one-day training session including lecture, practice, and paper and practical examination. It costs JPY 25,000 for participation of the session per person. You may ask the date.
OR
2) Invite Dr. Shigematsu to your country. The training session could be held in your country. For this, you may cover my travel expense and hotel. Each applicant would be required to pay the cost for the session. Ten applicants or more are welcome in one session.


2. IF you want to investigate effects of SSE, (For researcher)
1) You may refer the articles below.

2) You may discuss with Dr. Shigematsu about your research plan. Dr. Shigematsu loves a collaboration study.


3. IF you want to get SSE mats, (For non-researcher and researcher)
1) You are required to get an SSE certification.
OR
2) You are required to include Dr. Shigematsu as co-worker in your research team.
One mat costs JPY 11,340 and shipping cost. There is a company producing SSE mats in Japan. The company understands the philosophy and aim of the ISSE, however, it does not export the mats abroad. Dr. Shigematsu may personally export them if he understands your situation or starts a collaboration study with you.
