SSE leader in Io island, Nagasaki, Japan

Training course to be a volunteer, which is named as "Square Step Leader," was held on April 24th, 2010, at Io island, Nagasaki city, Japan.

Fourteen participants who were older adults participated. First, the participants observed the Square-Stepping Exercise class running routinely and joined it as class participants. Then, they learned teaching methods on SSE.

There have already been one SSE instructor at Io island. The 14 participants will help her SSE class soon.

A SSE leader is defined as a certification under a SSE instructor, which is certificated by the Institute of SSE. SSE leaders are trained when a municipality asks the Institute of SSE. After certifying as SSE leader, they can teach SSE voluntarily and are not allowed to work professionally.
